  ALBANY OBEDIENCE CLUB

Albany Obedience Club was established in 1955.  Its original focus was training and trialling in competitive Obedience.  Today, club members trial their dogs in many different performance sports, and we regularly offer classes in Agility, Obedience, Rally and Scent Work. 


Looking to have a well-behaved pet, or want an opportunity just to have fun with your dog?  We also offer classes in multiple levels of CGC, obedience, tricks and more!  


Our instructors are club members who volunteer their time to pass on their knowledge, experience and love of dogs.


Classes are open to non-members on a space available basis.

  • May Obedience Trial Entries Are Closed

    We'll be holding our Spring Obedience trial on May 16-17 at AOC.  Trial will be one ring, and offer classes from Beginner Novice through Utility.  Entries are now closed.  You can see the Premium here.  For more details, see the Obedience Trials page.

  • General Membership Meeting Date Change

    At the March Membership meeting, the Membership voted to hold General Membership meetings on the second WEDNESDAY of every other month (January, March, May, July, September and November).  Please note the change in your calendars.  The next General Membership meeting will be on Wednesday, May 13.
