  ALBANY OBEDIENCE CLUB


Albany Obedience Club was established in 1955.  Its original focus was training and trialling in competitive Obedience.  Today, club members trial their dogs in many different performance sports, and we regularly offer classes in Agility, Obedience, Rally and Scent Work. 


Looking to have a well-behaved pet, or want an opportunity just to have fun with your dog?  We also offer classes in multiple levels of CGC, obedience, tricks and more!  


Our instructors are club members who volunteer their time to pass on their knowledge, experience and love of dogs.


Classes are open to non-members on a space available basis.

    Session 3 classes start Sunday, May 25. Regular registration is closed. Late registration will be available from 5/19-5/22 ($25 late fee).  You can see the schedule here.  Once registration opens, you'll be able to register here. See Classes page for more details.

  • Forms for 2025 Plaques

    Did you and your dog earn some titles this year?  AOC will pay to have them added to your plaque, or to start a new plaque.   You can get a form from the box in the Meeting Room or by going to the Plaques, Picnic and Titles page.

    Members (and Conditional Members): Head on over to the Plaques, Picnic and Titles page, open up the Google Form and record your highest title(s) earned in 2024.  You worked hard: get some glory!

    We've added a fourth discussion Forum: Amendment Forum  Here you can read, comment on, and discuss the various amendments to be proposed at Membership Meetings.

    We currently have three other discussion fora going: Equipment Maintenance,   Building Improvements, and  Volunteer Policy. 

    All constructive thoughts are welcome!
