  ALBANY OBEDIENCE CLUB

Albany Obedience Club was established in 1955.  Its original focus was training and trialling in competitive Obedience.  Today, club members trial their dogs in many different performance sports, and we regularly offer classes in Agility, Obedience, Rally and Scent Work. 


Looking to have a well-behaved pet, or want an opportunity just to have fun with your dog?  We also offer classes in multiple levels of CGC, obedience, tricks and more!  


Our instructors are club members who volunteer their time to pass on their knowledge, experience and love of dogs.


Classes are open to non-members on a space available basis.

  • Dec Obedience Premium Is Here!

    We'll be holding our Novice Only Obedience Trials  on Dec 12-13 at AOC, one in the morning and one in the afternoon each day.  Liz Cleeves will be our judge for all four trials.  Entries open Sept 23 and close Nov 15.  Once entries open, you'll be able to enter online here.  Click here to see the premium.  See the Obedience and Rally trials page for more details.

    Our Fall Scent Work Trial will be held at the SUNY Cobleskill Training Center on Sept 12-13.  There are still runs available on Sunday: there's still time!   Entries close at noon, Aug 25.   You can see the premium here.

    Members!  When you log in, your profile page will automatically pop up.  Scroll down a little: your keycode is between your last name and email address.  To unlock the building: type in your keycode, and press the * key.  To lock the building: type in your keycode, and press the * key.  If you use your code to unlock the building, the next code that's entered will lock it again: doesn't matter whose it is.
