Canine Fitness Seminar Topics

•  The purpose and importance of a warmup and cool down for sport/active dogs.
•  Dynamic stretching vs passive stretching.
•  Discussion of supplements to help support tissues and structures while they are still healthy.
•  Discussion and demo of dynamic stretching/strengthening exercises with Theo.
•  Discussion and demo of safe tugging with regard to spinal health with Theo. 
• Go over different uses of equipment/bring desired equipment to demo.
•  Working spot participants (limited to 10) will have time to work with their dogs and have Jenn critique/help while auditors observe.

Jenn Wolfe Credentials

Jenn obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UNC-Wilmington in 2002 then became a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in 2006.  She decided to pursue a specialty in veterinary rehabilitation and enrolled in the certification program through the University of Tennessee. In 2008 she completed the process and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). Previously, Jenn worked at Shaker Veterinary Hospital for 10 years and Upstate Veterinary Specialties for 5 years. In May of 2022, she began working at Alternative Veterinary Therapies. When Jenn is not working at AVT, she is usually training her two American Pit Bull Terriers for GRC DogSports, traveling to trials or attending training workshops. She is the club lead of Adirondack GRC club and business partner of Paws for Obedience.

            Saturday, 4/20  4:00pm to 7:00pm

Cost per three hour session*:

$50 working spot for members

$60 working spot non-members
