  ALBANY OBEDIENCE CLUB


Albany Obedience Club was established in 1955.  Its original focus was training and trialling in competitive Obedience.  Today, club members trial their dogs in many different performance sports, and we regularly offer classes in Agility, Obedience, Rally and Scent Work. 


Looking to have a well-behaved pet, or want an opportunity just to have fun with your dog?  We also offer classes in multiple levels of CGC, obedience, tricks and more!  


Our instructors are club members who volunteer their time to pass on their knowledge, experience and love of dogs.


Classes are open to non-members on a space available basis.

    We've added a fourth discussion Forum: Equipment Maintenance.  Here you can report needed repairs, request replacements, and suggest new purchases. 

    We currently have three other discussion fora going: one for  Flooring, one for Building Improvements, and the other for thoughts on developing an improved Volunteer Policy. 

    All constructive thoughts are welcome!

    We're holding an agility trial Sept 20-22 at Dream Dogs in Saugerties.  You can view the premium and enter at PawPrint Trials.  

  • Session 4 Classes

    Session 4 Classes will begin August 25, 2024.   Early registration  (Instructors and First-ins) will be from 7/22-7/23.  Member and AOC Junior registration opens 7/24.  Non-member registration opens 7/27.  Regular registration closes 8/15.  Late registration will be available from 8/16-8/22.  See Classes page for details.  Once registration opens you'll be able to register by clicking here.
